Since I don't have a current sponsor that enables me to hang out at the golf course all day, I've decided that I need to make better use of my practice time, so I am building a practice green in my back yard. It is going to be quite a project, but with a little bit of perseverence, I think I'll make it. This way I'll be able to practice chipping and putting any time. This should allow me to quickly improve my short game. I'm currently evaluating different turf styles to see what the best one out there is. In the meantime, I am getting the yard prepared. Here is a picture of the start of the project. The sod has been cut and is in the process of being moved.
